The city describes Issaquah Valley as tucked in at the base of Squak Mountain, a short hop from both Central Issaquah and Olde Town. Issaquah Valley Elementary and the Eastside Fire and Rescue headquarters are here, and Confluence Park sits at the heart of it, with Berntsen and Salmon Run parks close by. The homes belong to a patchwork of separate associations rather than one master plan.
A range that has stood in place for years
A Wolf range that has occupied the same opening for a long time raises the same first questions, whatever its age. The rating plate tells us the model, the serial and whether it was set up for natural gas or LP. Wolf wants the range on a circuit that serves nothing else, and its gas shut-off valve kept reachable rather than boxed in behind a drawer or panel. If the repair means pulling the range out, it cools first — Wolf warns against moving it hot — and it goes back only with the anti-tip bolt caught in its bracket again.
Wear, as opposed to fit
Some faults have nothing to do with how the kitchen was built: an igniter that clicks with every knob off, a door seal that has flattened, a convection fan that has started to tick. Controls did nothing at all and I assumed the motor had gone. It was the speed control board. Booked it in the evening, seen the next morning, and he had the board on the van.

No simmer at all on the front left — either off or full flame. The valve needed its low-flame screw set after a gas conversion done by the last owner. Holds a proper low now.
